This has got to be one of the coolest things you’ll see all year.
A 16-tonne truck travelling at 112 km/h launches off a ramp and jumps over a Lotus F1 racing car, which jinks to the side and passes safely under the truck.
The daring stunt, created as an advertisement for EMC technology and the Lotus F1 team, was pulled off by experienced stunt drivers Mike Ryan and Martin Ivanov, and set a new world record for the longest truck jump in history: 25,4 metres!
EMC is in partnership with the Lotus F1 Team, and is transforming the racing unit’s IT, with private cloud technologies fostering game-changing advances in trackside performance.
