Debbie Abrahall (MD)
Managing Director of First Distribution, the Group’s IT Distribution arm, Debbie Abrahall has spent her career with the First Technology Group and has worked her way up through the company to her current position. Debbie joined Joffe and Associates in the Gauteng office at the age of 20. Joffe and Associates subsequently became Microdata, which was brought by Epsidon Technology, later renamed First Technology Holdings. Apart from a six month break in service with Panasonic Systems, Debbie has been with the company for 19 years and in her current role for the past 13 years.
Under her leadership, First Distribution has grown to be one of the leading Value Added distributors in South Africa with a first rate staff complement and senior management team, who have worked for Debbie cumulatively in excess of 50 years!

Ludwig Dedekind (GM of First Expertise)
Product, Technology and Operations General Manager for the Integrated Technology Solutions Division, Ludwig has more than two decades of experience in the IT industry ranging from technical to sales and management positions with a variety of well-known and respected companies, including Datakor, Infoplan and Edgetec.
Prior to joining First Distribution in 2006 as IBM Brand Manager, he wore various hats at IBM S.A., from Pre-Sales technical responsible for Eskom, to IBM x Series Sales Specialist for the Coastal region, and finally as IBM System x Brand Manager for South and Central Africa, located in Johannesburg. Ludwig was instrumental in achieving exponential growth in the IBM x Series Server and Storage businesses earning him numerous Top Achiever rewards

Tony Abrahall (GM of First Solutions)
Appointed as General Manager for Retail, Software and Security solutions, Tony Abrahall joined First Distribution in April 2008. After an aggressive acquisition drive to bring new vendors into First Distribution’s Portfolio, the business was restructured to become more solutions focused and Tony was appointed General Manager for Integrated Technology Solutions, responsible for Business Development and Sales. Tony has a long career in the IT industry, and has made his mark in companies ranging from Lotus Notes to IBM, where he achieved phenomenal success in leading and closing multi-million rand deals, penetrating new retail accounts, developing a strategic partner network for IBM’s Retail and Software businesses – and was on several occasions the recipient of the prestigious IBM EMEA Leadership Award, as well as the IBM EMEA General Manager’s Award for Excellence, Top Salesman Award and selected to attend IBM’s Top Achiever Club on numerous occasions.

Charlie Murray (GM of First Connect)
General Manager of First Connect and a veteran of the IT industry. Since 1984, Charlie’s entrepreneurial spirit has led him to start up and run various companies, ranging from Systems Integrators and Networking Distributors to Internet Service Providers. Charlie was responsible for the establishment of one of the first ISP’s in Botswana, which has since grown to become the largest Motorola wireless network in Africa. He has spent extensive time in Africa and, along with running the Networking division of First Distribution, will be driving the company’s expansion to regions outside South Africa.
